The Christian Education Ministry encompasses
all the training activities at Oak Shade Baptist Church. This ministry ensures
that all training and educational programs are based on scriptural principles
and are taught by instructors who have adequate preparation. In addition, the
program is designed to provide proper spiritual development to the membership
of Oak Shade Baptist Church. To accomplish these goals a regular training
program is in place. The pastor and minister for Christian Education oversee
the program and provide both guidance and support to these leading and various
elements of the program. The programs which are apart of the Christian
Education Ministry include:

Sunday School
starts at 9:30 AM every Sunday
- Wednesday night Bible Classes start at 8:00 PM
- Basic Bible Classes start at 9:00 AM on Saturdays
- Washington Bible College Adult education classes start at
8:30 AM on Saturdays
- Mentoring Programs take place on an as needed basis
- Teacher Certification Training Classes as needed.
